It gives us great pleasure to address you with words of greeting in connection with the appearance of the first issue of the journal "Bulletin of the International Medical University". The specialty of a doctor is extremely diverse and affects an incredibly wide range of human activities and human relationships. Yes, the most important components of our work include philanthropy, humanism, readiness for self-sacrifice, increased efficiency. But if all this is not combined with the highest professionalism, with the desire for constant improvement, with an understanding of our responsibility to the patient in this regard, then everything else, including the previously listed, is as insignificant as high words about our profession. A career as a doctor is not an empty word. We, doctors, differ from all other specialists in that each of us can actually build this very career, using a wide variety of opportunities for previous experience, sharing experience with specialists, observation, reading, understanding and analysis. We have always welcomed and will strongly support any initiatives to create journals, write articles, dissertations, and books, including, perhaps, not for a very wide range of readers, because we are well aware that the more focused the work is on a certain range of readers, the more valuable its purpose. This fully applies to any magazine. We share the status of a higher education institution, interests, and approaches to solving existing problems. But we are representatives of the same specialty and citizens of the same beautiful country.
